A Message from Our GM, Karen Symak

Karen grew up in the Durham area. After a brief stint in retail, Karen discovered a passion for HVAC, and has been working in the industry ever since. In her 20-plus years of HVAC experience, Karen has done it all. She started as a technician, transitioned into sales, and eventually worked her way up into management.

Karen believes in doing the right thing for the customer. She is a driven leader with a keen focus on team building, and possesses the ability to impart her relentless motivation to others through coaching. Nothing catches Karen off-guard; she’s highly adaptable to change, and never fails to garner high productivity and results.

Karen fosters a culture of fun, efficiency, and overachievement. When she’s not at work, she likes to read and spend time with her family, which includes 4 kids and 1 dog.

John Park inspected our furnace this morning and gave us a very detailed analysis on the problems we were having on a reoccurring bases with our system. Called Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning for the first time, as an emergency call over the July 1, Canada Day long weekend, and met John Park, the technician, who came to fix our air conditioner which was not working! It was extremely hot and humid over the weekend, so we were very happy that Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning acted so quickly!  John Park was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and he replaced the necessary part for the air conditioning unit, and we are very happy with both John and the company!
