Your air conditioning system should be replaced between every 8-15 years. However, this is dependent on a few different factors. If your A/C unit has been installed correctly and is properly maintained, it could run well even longer. If it is used too much, or too little, if the system – including your ducts are not routinely cleaned, or if you allow repairs to go unmade, your air conditioning unit may need to be replaced sooner than later.

What Customers Say
“We chose Mersey to replace our aging furnace, A/C, and rental water tank. We were impressed with the thorough approach taken by Rene to both sizing the system and explaining our options. Once we decided to go ahead, Chris, Jordan, and Mike did a great job with the install, consulting with us throughout the day any time there was a choice about placement. The end result is a quiet, clean-looking and modern system as we head into winter. Follow up on how everything was working was great – would definitely recommend.
PS – We just had our first annual maintenance call. Cory was extremely thorough – he explained in great detail the specific checks and adjustments that were made. Great service!”

“I had Mersey install a Lennox air conditioner in my new house last week. When I set the fan to auto I noticed that there was a banging noise every time the fan stopped. Called Mersey for a service call and they said that a tech will be here today. The service guy Thava #106562 came right on time, he detected the problem right away and fixed it immediately even though the issue was related to the initial installation by the builder.
I’m very impressed with the company as a whole and their installation and service guys in particular.”
